Arkansas Sales Tax Rate Changes, October 2015


 New sales tax rates take effect in Arkansas on October 1.

Sales tax changes for the third quarter are beginning to roll in. Most recently, the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration has announced new and increased local sales tax rates for the state of Arkansas.

Sales tax rate changes

  • Brinkley, in Monroe County, will increase sales and use tax to 3%.
  • El Dorado, in Union County, will increase sales and use tax to 1.250%.

New sales tax

  • Western Grove, in Newton County, is enacting a 1% sales and use tax.
