Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax News

News updates from the Arizona Department of Revenue keep on coming.

Due to the passage of Ordinance Number 15-129, which repeals the sunset provision of Ordinance Number 117, rates in the Town of Superior are as follows, effective December 1, 2015:

  • General sales tax rate remains 4%
  • Residential and commercial rental, leasing and licensing for use remains 2%
  • Metalliferous mining remains 0.10%

And effective July 1, 2015 but retroactive to January 1, 2015, license fees for transaction privilege tax (including business activities of residential real property rental, leasing and licensing for use and commercial real property rental, leasing and licensing for use) in the Town of Patagonia is $0.
