Oklahoma Sales Tax Rate Changes, January 2016


 New local sales tax rates take effect in Oklahoma, January 2016.

The Oklahoma Tax Commission has announced numerous local sales and use tax rate changes in Oklahoma, effective January 1, 2016.

City rate changes (listed with COPO)

  • Bartlesville (5701 and 7401): sales tax rate will increase from 3% to 3.4%
  • Del City (5505): sales and use tax rate will increase from 3% to 3.4%
  • Gore (6807): sales and tax rate will increase from 3.5% to 4%
  • Hollis (2904): sales and use tax rate will increase from 2% to 3%
  • Norman (1411): sales and use tax rate will increase from 3.5% to 4%.

County rate changes (listed with COPO)

  • Marshall County (4888): sales and use tax rate will increase from 1.75% to 2%
  • Pittsburg County (6188): sales and use tax rate will increase from 0.5% to 1.5%
