Local Lodging Tax Nixed

  • Nov 11, 2015 | Gail Cole

No new lodging tax for Coos Bay, Oregon.

Voters in Coos County, Oregon, rejected a 10% tax on short-term lodging during the November 3, 2015, special election.

Had Measure 6-152 passed, the tax would have been applied to stays of less than 30 days at hotels, motels, condos, RV parks, campgrounds and vacation rentals.

See the election results here.
