New York Sales Tax Rate Changes, December 2015

Two local sales and use tax rate changes are set to take effect in New York on December 1, 2015.
In Chautauqua County, the local rate will jump to 4%, for a new combined state and local rate of 8% (up from 7.5%). The new rate applies to all taxable deliveries, sales, services and uses in Chautauqua County. Additional details are available here.
In Jefferson County, the local rate will jump to 4%, for a new combined state and local rate of 8% (up from 7.75%). The new rate applies to all taxable deliveries, sales, services and uses in Jefferson County. Additional details are available here.
