Texas Memorial Day weekend sales sax holiday

Many energy efficient products are exempt from Texas sales tax over Memorial Day Weekend.

Texas is providing a sales and use tax exemption for Energy Star® and WaterSense® labeled products during Memorial Day weekend. It runs from 12:01 a.m. May 28 through 11:59 p.m. May 30. Businesses are not permitted to charge sales tax on products qualifying for the exemption during that time.
