New York local tax extended, September 2016

  • Aug 31, 2016 | Gail Cole

The Rye Brook, New York occupancy tax has been extended.

Periodically, local taxes in New York must either be extended or expire. For many local taxes, an extension must be approved by the New York legislature.

The Rye Brook occupancy tax, previously set to expire September 1, 2016, is now extended until September 1, 2019 due to the enactment of Assembly Bill 9072.
