Indiana gasoline use tax rate change, January 2017

Indiana’s gasoline use tax rate is set to increase on January 1, 2017.

The rate for the month of December is 11.4 cents per gallon. For the month of January, it jumps to 11.6 cents per gallon.

Gasoline use tax in Indiana is computed by multiplying the average price of gasoline for the period in question by the state retail tax rate. Additional information.
