Ohio sales tax rate changes, April 2017

 New sales and use tax rates coming to Ohio on April 1, 2017.i

Two local sales and use tax rate increases are set to take effect in Ohio on April 1, 2017:

  • The rate in Holmes County will jump to 7% from 6.75%.
  • The rate in Lorain County will increase to 6.75% from 6.5%.
