Ohio sales tax rate changes, October 2018

There are 88 counties in Ohio, and two are set to increase sales and use tax rates starting October 1, 2018.

In Montgomery County, the combined state and local rate will increase from 7.25 to 7.5 percent. In Tuscarawas County, the combined rate will jump from 6.75 to 7.25 percent. Additional details are available from the Ohio Department of Taxation.
