Are you an Amazon seller who’s ready to take your business to the next level this year? There’s a lot to learn, and one of the best ways to gain access to all the valuable info you need is to join other Amazon experts and sellers at a conference.
Just your luck: I am collaborating with a dozen former Amazon business leaders and more than 50 senior leaders at solution providers supporting Amazon sellers in hosting the PROSPER Show for Amazon Sellers. The conference, a must for Amazon sellers of all levels, will be held in Salt Lake City on February 8-9, 2016.
Why Amazon Sellers Need This
During my five plus years at Amazon, I worked first-hand with thousands of sellers. I was Amazon’s first FBA account manager and then head of the Amazon Services platform, through which more than 100,000 new sellers joined Amazon each year.
During my time at Amazon, I watched far too many sellers inadvertently hurt their businesses either with actions they shouldn’t have taken, or a lack of action in key areas of their business. I came to realize that being an effective Amazon seller requires clear understanding, planning, and execution across multiple operational aspects of the business.
To be most successful, sellers need to have plans in place for inventory management, forecasting, pricing, feedback/product reviews, product optimization, tax collection and remittance, accounting, shipping, and capital funding. Yet most entrepreneurs who start Amazon businesses simply don’t have the time to develop and apply best practices to each of these areas.
How The PROSPER Show Delivers
Since leaving Amazon two years, I’ve had the privileged opportunity to work with hundreds of specialists in various parts of the Amazon eco-system: companies and consultants helping Amazon sellers become more efficient and profitable. We realized that sellers could use a central meeting-place where they could learn everything they want to know and have all their questions answered: The PROSPER Show was born.
Join Greg Chapman of Avalara, dozens of Amazon industry experts, and me this February to learn how to streamline your efforts, accelerate your business’ growth, and share ideas with hundreds of other motivated sellers. Organizing seventy speakers across a combination of moderated competitive panels and lectures, we will share best practices on how to run your business on Amazon.
Keynote speaker John Rossman will discuss his experiences co-founding Amazon’s marketplace and share his perspective on how Amazon cultural norms help to define what sellers should expect from Amazon.
Don’t waste time trying to figure this all out yourself when you can join us and learn more in two days than you will learn in a year by going it alone. Whether you’re just starting out or expanding your business, the PROSPER Show should be your first step toward achieving your goals in 2016.
