The successful candidate will ensure that our business partners have the data, insights, and communication of results to drive successful execution of Global Incentive Programs to make effective and impactful decisions. She/He will also oversee the effective planning and execution of Avalara's Global Sales Incentive, Rewards & Recognition Program motions and administration.

We are seeking a motivated Sr Operations Analyst/Manager for turning data into insights, be technically strong with excellent time management, communication, and collaboration skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to navigate and build relationships in a highly matrixed organization with a proven track record of understanding the factors that motivates professional Sales Teams.

Responsibilities


  • Interpret business results and support design, management and administration of Global Incentive Programs and measure performance
  • Ensure accurate and timely creation, maintenance, communication, and deployment of Rewards & Recognition Programs, which includes administration of web hosted platforms (Google Studios)
  • Assist with design, development and maintenance of models and analytics used to drive business decisions and continued program development.
  • Aid in the creation of engagement decks/communication with Executive Management across Programs and Insights and Revenue Operations
  • Support the accurate updating of Sales MBR and QBR content to ensure Senior Leaders are aware of performance achievements and challenges
  • Support leaders with other ad-hoc requests and business partner support, as needed

Requirements


  • 8 years of relevant sales reporting or sales operation experience preferably in SaaS/Technology based company
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis, sales operations, or sales compensation
  • Experience in supporting Sales Reporting, Rewards and Recognition Programs, Incentives or Sales Commissions solutions in collaboration with business partners
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Power Bi, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Miro
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of partnering within and across functions to improve processes and drive results
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
  • Ability to support leaders in rapid changing situations, and build consistent repeatable processes to scale across multiple business models in a highly matrixed organization
  • Highly proficient with business applications such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office suite, Google Studios and other applicable project tracking and reporting applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Program Management Certification
