As a Manager, Display & Paid Social, you'll be responsible for the strategy, overseeing junior members of the team and efficient day-to-day management of display & paid social campaigns for our global suite of products. You'll partner with global internal teams to exceed growth goals through ongoing optimization of Avalara's business initiatives and executing go-to-market strategies across global business units and products. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Paid Digital. Responsibilities
  • Own the performance of display and paid social marketing channels across multiple products and business units
  • You'll lead the day-to-day supervision and management of the display & paid social campaigns and increase efficiency through optimizations, targeting, execution details, and testing with a track record of handling high campaign volume, large budgets, complex strategies and driving quantifiable results
  • Work cross-functionally with Audience owners and other internal departments to develop campaign strategy definition and implementation of display & paid social campaigns
  • Present innovative ideas and creative tactics to improve efficiencies for future marketing expansion or optimization
  • Measure, track and analyze the performance of display & paid social campaigns across channels, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs); optimize key metrics across the campaign lifecycle
  • Develop partnerships with our display partners to ensure we're following best practices and gaining access to relevant betas
  • Keep pace with digital advertising industry trends and development
  • Develop necessary program reporting, dashboards, and one-off analyses, providing the ability to monitor the health of the program and effectively communicate performance
  • Be the subject matter expert within Avalara on all things related to display & paid social marketing
Qualifications
  • BA/BS in marketing, finance or a related field
  • 5-7+ years experience directly managing digital campaigns for B2B-focused SaaS organizations
  • 2+ years experience managing and developing a team of marketing specialists
  • Proficiency in Google Marketing Platform (SA 360, Campaign Manager, and DV 360), Google Ads (display & video), Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, Salesforce and Tableau
  • Exceptional analytical skills, including data manipulation and financial analysis
  • Proficient in MS Excel and in conducting and discerning actionable insights
  • Outstanding communication, project management and collaboration skills with the ability to work with both technical and business teams
  • Ability to work independently/efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and able to exercise strong attention to detail
