We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Data Privacy Compliance Manager to join our team.

Job Duties:

Applies privacy and regulatory requirements on an operational level, monitors internal controls, audits, and oversees assessment and mitigation of current program risks.

Work with the legal and security governance stakeholders to maintain standards and controls to comply with state, national and international data privacy regulations and laws.

Writes/revises, communicates, and ensures compliance with internal privacy and data governance polices, standards, and procedures.

Coordinate and enable compliance monitoring activities, including reporting and analytics, pertaining to data privacy.

Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, Human Resources, Vendor Risk Management, and Security to address potential compliance issues and achieve data privacy program initiatives.

Own regular business metrics and content generation for inclusion in management reporting.

Maintain other documentation such as privacy-focused wikis, FAQs, policies, and standard operating procedures.


Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology, or equivalent experience in technology companies.

3+ years of experience in a privacy, legal, compliance, or risk management role.

3+ years of experience in program management experience.

Working knowledge of major international and domestic privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).

Experience in collaborating and influencing cross functional teams.

Experience in crisis management and ability to execute under pressure.

Strong organizational and planning skills.

Excellent communication and writing skills.

Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.

Experience working cross-functionally and globally, managing complex programs.

Experience in analyzing and interpreting data.

Experience in strategy and transforming operations.

Experience driving communication across organization, including executives.

Preferred Qualifications:

IAPP certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPP/E, CIPT.

Experience in online or cloud services and/or technology industries is a bonus

3+ years of professional experience in the computer software industry or services industry focused on software product development.
