MuleSoft Powers AvaTax Integration with Oracle E-Business Suite to Automate Invoicing and Tax Calculation
Bainbridge Island, WA – March 11, 2013 – Avalara (www.Avalara.com) the market leading provider of sales tax and compliance automation services in the cloud, today announced it has certified the integration of AvaTax, Avalara’s software as a service (SaaS) solution for sales tax management, with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
The integration is powered by MuleSoft, the provider of the world's most widely used integration platform, and allows AvaTax to automate the invoicing and tax calculation process within the Oracle E-Business Suite application. The Oracle EBS integration application, built and managed on CloudHub, MuleSoft’s integration platform as a service (iPaaS), allows Oracle EBS customers to reduce time and reduce risk with accurate sales tax calculations. Using the Oracle EBS integration application users will reduce time spent calculating tax and performing double data entry between systems. In addition Oracle users will reduce risk with accurate tax calculations and synchronized report details in both AvaTax and Oracle EBS.
