Avalara Forms Strategic Alliance with Maryland Association of CPAs

Members can now access up-to-date sales and use tax educational resources, hands-on tools, and Avalara partnering programs
Bainbridge Island, WA – April 10, 2014 – Avalara, Inc., (www.Avalara.com), a leading cloud-based sales tax and compliance automation technology provider, has formed a strategic alliance with the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (www.macpa.org), a professional membership-based organization comprised of over 9,000 CPAs licensed to provide financial and related services in the state of Maryland.
Under this new relationship, MACPA members will have unlimited access, at no cost, to up-to-date sales and use tax (SUT) and related educational resources, to better assist their clients, and/or their employers, in a rapidly changing and complex regulatory environment. In addition, MACPA member accounting firms will be able to take advantage of specific partnering programs that Avalara will make available to them to help differentiate their services.
