The Event No Amazon Seller Should Miss in 2016

During my five plus years at Amazon, I worked first-hand with thousands of sellers. I was Amazon’s first FBA account manager and then head of the Amazon Services platform, through which more than 100,000 new sellers joined Amazon each year.

During my time at Amazon, I watched far too many sellers inadvertently hurt their businesses either with actions they shouldn’t have taken, or a lack of action in key areas of their business. I came to realize that being an effective Amazon seller requires clear understanding, planning, and execution across multiple operational aspects of the business.

To be most successful, sellers need to have plans in place for inventory management, forecasting, pricing, feedback/product reviews, product optimization, tax collection and remittance, accounting, shipping, and capital funding. Yet most entrepreneurs who start Amazon businesses simply don’t have the time to develop and apply best practices to each of these areas.
