Barbados levies VAT on foreign e-commerce

Barbados is set to impose VAT on the B2C sales by non-resident online sellers from 15 December 2019. This follows two postponements earlier this year of the measure.

Currently, goods bought online from foreign marketplaces or webstores are subject to import VAT at customs.
