Croatia raises VAT 2% to 25% March 2012

The government has announced a 2% increase in the Croatian VAT rate from 23% to 25%.

The new rate will come into force on 1st March 2012.

Croatia has been forced into this consumption tax rise as its important EU markets have stagnated following the financial and Euro crises.
