Italy VAT return payments

Following the reforms of the Italian VAT reporting requirements – moving to quarterly returns and invoice summaries – the tax authorities have confirmed that VAT payments will remain monthly.
The payment date will be the 16th of the month following.

Fiscal representatives are responsible for the accurate VAT submissions of their non-EU clients.
