Sweden VAT changes

The 2015 Budget proposal introduced a number of Swedish VAT changes. These include:

  • The VAT exemption on dental supplies and related services has changed
  • No change to the reduced 12% VAT rates on tourism services (following the left-wing government’s re-election last month)
  • The threshold for the use of simplified VAT invoices has been increased
  • Reduction in the use of VAT Groups following the Skandia case
