We’ve expanded our partnership with Shopify by launching a new integration on the Shopify Tax Platform. As an existing user of the legacy Avalara AvaTax for Shopify Plus program that’s being deprecated, you’re eligible for a special promotional offer for this new integration.

Our new integration:

• Allows you to get direct support from Avalara, as it’s built and sold by us
  
• Supports exchange functionality and partial refunds within an order
• Calculates global taxes like U.S. sales tax and VAT, including B2B VAT
• Calculates customs duties and import taxes (subscription required)
• Supports Avalara Exemption Certificate Management in checkout for tax exempt sales (subscription required)
• Syncs your product catalog information daily from Shopify to Avalara
• Retains your Avatax settings and configurations

• Multi-tax breakdown: Provides more visibility directly in Shopify into bundled taxes and fees where applicable
• Integrated UI and app alerts on Shopify admin: View updates and alerts for your Avalara for Shopify integration directly from the Shopify admin panel, providing you more visibility into changes and updates
• Item tax code management: Allows you to specify the tax codes in Shopify
