Job Duties

  • Work with both development and QA teams with a focus on automating build and deployment
  • Design and develop a continuous deployment pipeline, integrating Chef,
  • GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker for a wide range of server types
  • Implement CI/CD in projects (GitLabCI)
  • Source Code Management (SCM) using tools, e.g. Github (with Git workflows)
  • Enable software build and deploy using tools such as Jenkins, Maven,
  • Artifactory, CodeDeploy, Docker Repository
  • Deployments in Docker/Kubernetes
  • Write, plan, create infra as a code using Terraform
  • Packaging and deployment tool like Helm charts
  • Monitoring, ITSM automation incident creation from alerts using licensed and open source tools
  • Ensure team collaboration using Jira, Confluence and other tools
  • Manage credentials for AWS cloud servers, GitHub repos, Atlassian Cloud services, Jenkins, Docker, OpenVPN, and the developers environment
  • Building environments for unit tests, integration tests, system tests, and acceptance tests
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or related field required
  • 5 years of experience in hands-on DevOps engineering
  • 3 years of experience with Python or Java development
  • 2 years hands-on experience with in Kubernetes and Docker in large scale Public Cloud Environments
  • Expert in using AWS toolkits
  • Good understanding of design of native Cloud applications Cloud application design patterns and practices preferably AWS
  • Ability to quickly learn new any existing technologies Strong problem solving skills Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Should have expert Linux and Network administration skills to troubleshoot and trace symptoms back to the root cause.
  • Strong understanding and experience operating hybrid environments
  • Experience implementing CI/CD
  • Experience using a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services
  • Experience with infrastructure automation solutions (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
  • Experience with AWS
  • Need to understand business requirements
