Oklahoma sales tax changes, April 2017

Several local sales and use tax rate changes are scheduled to take effect in Oklahoma on April 1, 2017.
New tax
- Gate is imposing a 2% sales tax
Tax decrease
- Healdton is decreasing sales and use tax from 4.5% to 4%
Tax increase
- Porum is increasing the sales and use tax rate from 4% to 5%
The above rates are in addition to the 4.5% state sales and use tax. Additional information, including reporting codes, is available at the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
