Wyoming sales tax rate changes, October 2018
- Sep 14, 2018 | Gail Cole
The Wyoming Department of Revenue has announced an upcoming sales and use tax rate change.
Effective October 1, 2018, the sales and use tax rate in Carbon County will drop from 6% to 5% due to the expiration of a 1% special purpose county option tax.
There is a 2% lodging tax on top of these, so the total lodging sales and use tax for the county will be 7% (down from 8%).
