Guyana reduces VAT to 14%

Guyana will cut its standard VAT rate from 16% to 14% from 1 February 2017.
Other changes to the VAT regime include:
- Domestic electricity and water supplies will be subject to VAT
- An increase in the VAT threshold to GYD 15million
