Activating AvaTax is quick and simple
Getting set up with AvaTax for Microsoft Dynamics GP is fast and easy. The setup wizard will walk you through each step and doesn’t require IT support in most instances.
Once you activate AvaTax and set up your company profile, you can configure the software for unique business requirements like:

Tax details within Microsoft Dynamics GP are limited to posting into one, specific general ledger account. This means that some users will want to establish multiple tax details, organized either geographically or by jurisdiction.
AvaTax for Dynamics GP is not dependent on Service Packs; no upgrade is necessary.
If you are an AvaTax customer in good standing, and you suffer a negative audit finding and financial loss due to an inaccurate result returned by the AvaTax service, Avalara will pay your uncollected tax, penalties, and interest, or refund your prior 12 months’ service fee, whichever is lower. Additional limitations apply. Our guarantee is subject to the conditions in Section 4 of our terms, located at https://www.avalara.com/legal/terms/.
Avalara will need an accurate and complete address in order to calculate tax. If you have the latitude and longitude (U.S. only), we will still be able to calculate tax.
Annually. If you subscribe to a 500 transaction plan, for example, you can use those transactions any time in your annual subscription term. Transactions must be used within the subscription term in which they are purchased.
Avalara provides a 12-month agreement that you can pay annually or in monthly installments. Agreements automatically renew at the end of each 12-month term, but you can cancel your agreement at the end of each term.
Yes. Avalara offers unlimited access to the Avalara Help Center 24 hours a day, 365 days a week. Customers who purchase online can also call Avalara’s Customer Contact Center at 877-855-8622 for assistance with any order placed online.
